What a find!. The cottage is immaculate, and so well equipped; and the views! Fantastic. We have had a lovely time here. Walked the beaches; cycled Clare Island; visited the Tavern for supper; visited Tourmakeady Woods and Ballintubber Abbey; climbed Croagh Patrick(!); mooched around Westport; swum in the ocean; and spent time gazing at the hills across the bay and the ever changing light on the waves … Loved it! (the garden is amazing too!)
Lovely cottage, peaceful & relaxing. Beautiful gardens. Good night in Westport with live band at Matt Molloys. Nice 4km walk (or run) to Old Head. All on back lanes & along top of beach.
Thank you for this beautiful place. The cottage was lovely – everything I needed
and all so spotless. The view & the garden – beautiful!! So many things to do nearby
– Ballintubber, Cong Abbey & the walk thru the woods, Achill Island, the Silver strand,
the cruise on Killary Bay & of course dining -
Doing the dishes was never as good before with a scenic view from the kitchen window. The beach just down the hill saves you from a long drive.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The cottage is lovely and we thoroughly appreciated the thought and attention that has been given to providing resources such as maps, books and cds, well organised information folder etc
