Views from Croagh Patrick stunning. Drive to Leenane breathtaking

Doo Lough is lovely, nice walking trails around Leenane

The long drive to the end of Achill Island is worth the trip – late afternoon on a sunny day – the cliffs are stunning – lovely sheltered beach also.

Some of the most unusual scenery we have ever seen. The mountains, the fields, the water…. Walked the beaches at Roonagh Point and Carrowmore alone.

Wonderful relaxing holiday.... Local beach good for a stroll. Parking at bottom of lane.

We enjoyed very much our stay …. We certainly appreciated the peacefulness and the relaxed atmosphere – stunning views, really a special spot!

Enjoyed the peace of this place

Great location, very peaceful. Would recommend the following.

1. The Atlantic Trail drive up to Keem Strand...

2. The pub where the Field was filmed in Leenane....

3. Go see Kylemore Abbey, then take the long way back via Tully Cross

My first visit to Ireland has been so memorable - stunning views, varied landscape, friendly people, good food, peace and tranquility.
